What We Do

Youth Motivation Task Force and our volunteer speakers visit schools in the Orange County area. In an average school year, YMTF visits 10-12 schools, in turn reaching approximately 5,000-6,000 students.

We provide statistics and information relating the cost-of-living and financial benefits of education. Volunteer speakers relate these stats, along with their personal experiences to give the students an experience they can relate to.

We provide 3-5 scholarships annually to encourage students to continue their education post-high school. Read more about scholarships HERE

It’s good for students to hear about how to prepare for their future by an outside professional. Sometimes the kids are tired of hearing the voice of their teacher, parents, or guardians.

The speaker motivated me to succeed in life. Try hard, set S.M.A.R.T goals, and work to achieve them. I now know there are opportunities out there I didn’t think were possible before today.

Your message is so important and coming from someone who has worked and been successful and is not a VVHS staff member oftentimes makes all the difference!
